Mangia Brick Oven Pizza & Grill: A Blend of Flavor and Atmosphere in Fieldsboro, NJ

While out taking care of other things, we got hungry. Considering we had Ubered to this location, this was the only place to eat. Well, let try it. This salad was huge. We shared it and loved it. My wife got the Chicken Marsala with angel hair pasta, and I got a Calzone. The pasta dish was soupy and sweet, and for her, it was not flavorful. Mine was just okay, I've had better. Overall, it's not bad. Will I go back, no.

The service was wonderful, but a little slow. The brick oven pizza was good. The bruchetta was ok, probably because it isn’t a good time for tomatoes.

If I were to base my review on food, taste ,and service only, I would give it an outstanding 5. However there is so much more to a meal experience. The atmosphere is better than I expected for a pizza parlor, but not enough for a rating of 5. The place was somewhat noisey, but not loud enough to be obtrusivly loud. We were greeted a a pleasant smiling hostess who jovially escorted us to our table. Almost instantly we were greeted by our waitress, also very pleasant and extremely polite. Even the buss boy was attenative and extremely friendly. We ordered the beef short ribs with risotto. A generous portion of very tender flavorful beef on top of a creamy parmesan risotto. We also had the Pasta Fagoli which was delicious. I added a side order of grilled vegetables that were perfectly cooked. I wanted Spumonti for desert, which they don't have; but the waitress combined several gelatis to make something similar. An awesome experience: awesome food and awesome service - bar none. Went to Mongia for dinner waiter was not attentive to busy talking to regular customers. Food was just ok, nothing that I would brag about or recommend to anyone. Serving sizes were smaller than the last time we were there. Had to ask someone to get our server so we could order dessert’s. Don’t think I will be returning anytime soon.

Mangia is the best! Great place for a quick lunch (grilled chicken Caesar wrap is great!) or a nice dinner with friends (my all time fave is the penne vodka). I’ve also attended a large event (first communion) that was executed seamlessly. Friendly, fast service.

This is really a great place in Bordentown. The pizza I had was terrific and the owners really seem to care to make sure that you're happy. It's A BYOB but they also sell wine by the bottle.

The one of the best pizza joints in Bordentown in my opinion!! I always get the Della Nonna pizza which is incredible, but last week I also tried their sweet pepper and onion and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I don't find the prices to be bad, and the service and atmosphere is great. I love this place!
